I took Club Mahindra membership about 1 and half years back and till date have not been able to avail a holiday. Though I took membership for the'Red Season'.tried 3 times for accommodation.2-3 months in advance.never got 1 yet. Though I paid 50% of the Membership Fee, have decided to cancel the membership.
Member Relations is simply pathetic.no words to describe. The company seems to be full of lethagic people, to the extent that even when my Card changed, no one followed up for taking EMIs. I think I was foolish enough to proactively call them to deduct the EMI amount.
They seem to have got too many members and too less accommodation.the Tier system is a complete failure. Whatever Season membership you take, you need to book well in advance.(5-6 months).Can a working person plan a holiday so much in advance? This probably only suits retired people.but on second thoughts.25 years membership for a retired person?
Though I have not availed even 1 holiday and willing to settle.the fine print clauses clearly are only in the company's favour, which the Sales people will never tell you(READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE MEMBERSHIP RULES BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER THIS), I think I will have to write off the 1.5 lakhs already paid to them. The Member Relations executives make you run round and round in circles.
My conclusion.THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.THE BUSINESS MODEL AND THE ORGANISATION IS A COMPLETE FAILURE. One enters with big dreams and high hopes and comes out a frustrated man. I DO NOT ADVISE THIS COMPANY OR PRODUCT SERVICE TO ANYONE.
