Clixflix.com: The worst Customer Service ever...

Well I know I am sounding very rude with my title here. I was a regular customer with clicflix.com for about 5 months. This was when they had just started their first store in Borivli. At that point of time their services were excellent, they had amazing membership offers, it was their initial phase to capture their customer base. However its been just a year I moved to this new place and luckily I saw their store located like 20mins away from my home. Since I had used their services earlier I was keen to continue. I was amazed when I called them for the first time, they still had my name, address & number.


However I asked to change and as usual requested for 2 or more DVD's. I requested the DVD's at around 3pm, trust me every hour I kept calling to check, the store keeper told me that the delivery guy has left an hour back, the DVD's are booked..forget the same day the DVD's didn't come to our place for the next 3 days. During this time whenever we called all they had to say was that the DVD's are still under my name, plus the delivery boy didn't have cell phone with him, he was new, so he might have lost the way, he did't show up to work for the last 3 days. Anyways finally I bought that DVD from Planet M. I forgot about the incident.


A month later I thought of ordering for some DVD's as we had family gathering. So as usual called up clixflix.com. This time I told them that please send old boy to deliver the DVD's as he might know the way, also to give him the cell phone. We ordered this DVD at around 12noon, the movie reached at 7pm, the reasons- same as the last ones. I had lost my cool, yet that guy didn't show any courtesy. When asked the delivery guy what time he left from the store he said he was just assigned this task half n hour back. OK. I was like forget. 2 months later I called up these guys again to order for some rental DVD's, I was very very clear about the timelines as I told them that by 7pm I have an appointment with the doctor. This time the store manager apologised for the previous errors and promised that the movie would reach within an hour. I asked for this movie at 4:30pm assuming that even if this guy comes late which was expected from the past experience I thought he would atleast reach by 6pm(since I mentioned about the Doctor appointment). Trust me this time they had the same excuse and the movie reached my place at 9pm, I blasted the store manager on the phone, asked the delivery guy when did he leave the store, he said he was assigned this task just half n hour back. Ok. I didn't have change so I told this guy that he can take the money while picking up the DVD, this man refused saying its not in their policy. So I want to ask Clixflix.com is service delivery late is very much a part of their policy, but trusting customer is not. Wow.


You all must be thinking as why I didn't check with other rental shop the reason is we don't have any except for this stupid store. Now whenever we want to watch any movie either we download, or ask friends at the most buy one. Never ever I will call these people for anymore DVD rentals.


In fact during the last conversation when I asked them that I want to speak to the owner they didn't even know his name. They gave me some email for complaints, which I didn't make use of. If the actual service is this pathetic you can only imagine how long will they take to resolve the issue. I have no trust in them. They are very cold in answering your calls, when I was asking them to justify the late delivery, every time they had same reasons. Plus when you are asking them about the delivery, they keep the receiver aside and have conversation among themselves, which you can really listen to. So instead of listening to the customer they choose to ignore.


I would never recommend this store to anyone for DVD's, I wouldn't mind buying DVD's from road but not with them.
