Another product review as promised. Today, it’s shampoos… And luckily it’s brief! I dunno where to start. But I am doing this review on Clinic All Clear since I feel there is a very good offer from them..

The shampoo itself is on par with Head and Shoulders. Yes, I am referring to the Anti –dandruff shampoo from them. There are a few good ones, the best being Clinic All clear and Head and Shoulders. I think it's quite effective for atleast three days after which dandruff from my head just keeps parachuting down! I sometimes need a fine comb to weed them out...

By the way, beware of Dr.Batra’s anti-dandruff shampoo. It's a shampoo in a fancy package which is the lousiest in which ever category you use. You are bound to get rashes after a week. Also there are likely to be a few lumpy spots on your head due to it over time....

Clinic All clear Total now has come out with a 40 ml package at a cost of 15 bucks. (The small bottle). That’s worth it. The pricing is as follows.

Satchet - 3 bucks

40 ml - 15 bucks

100 ml - 60 bucks

200 ml - 115 bucks

So in the end it appears you are paying for the packaging for the 100 and 200 ml bottles. If I buy 5 40 ml bottles I pay a price of 75 bucks for 200 ml instead of the 115 bucks for the 200 ml bottle itself. See the difference? I don’t know what is their logic and product pricing. But I prefer the 40ml bottles because of a lot of reasons to it.

a. The 40 ml is the cheapest and most economical.

b. Better than most shampoos. On par with Head and shoulders.

c. When you open a 200 ml bottle and use it for a long time you tend to see some chemical reaction due to water or otherwise.

With the 40 ml, I have no such fear. It’s sure to get over in two weeks. Or one week as the case may be. Regarding the shampoo itself, it’s pretty good to eliminate dandruff provided you have a head bath twice a week. I have a strong dandruff problem inspite of everything due to heat. Keep in mind that I travel around 55 kms daily with my head stuffed in a helmet on the busiest road in Bangalore with an average of 17,000 vehicles per hour! (I journey to and fro to my office)

So, I guess I need it~! On a recent trip to Goa I had taken just one bottle for my family. (Hint! one more review on Goa coming soon ... ) I guess I am stuck for words now.

Ciaou

Take care..
