Let me share my awful experience with clear trip(well I have changed name as fraud-trip). I booked 2 rooms for two nights for Surya Village(Ooty) somewhere in Oct-Nov with an option that I will pay money in hotel. On 23rd Dec I confirmed hotel by calling them that I will come of hotel and pay them after checking in. Then at 11 AM I’ve received call from IVR to confirm rooms which I have done by pressing 2 as option to confirm but then I got reply saying that booking has been cancelled.


I immediately called fraud-trip(on their reservation desk number) and told them the whole story they refused to help and told me to contact their help line which is near impossible to get through. After 10 mins someone picked phone and told me that they can’t help and asked me to call reservation desk. I tried many things but all failed in front of dunderheads. So booked 2nd hotel(biggest mistake in my life – my fault) again via fraud trip and paid full amount and guess what 2 days before reservation(i.e on 26th) got call that my reservation is cancelled and they offered me an Anmol cottage at a price of 13 K and told me that they will refund 6K.


I mailed them that on their website for 2 days and 2 rooms total is coming to 8K they why 13K for that they told me that superior king suits are being offered to me. I say OK and when I reached cottage I found that there was only one king size room(not suite) and second one was queen bedroom. I called Ms. Tina and told her whole story and asked her to either booking to queen rooms or cancel my booking. As per the policy of fraud trip she stopped receiving my calls when I called her 2-3 times(because every time she asked for some time so that she can speak with Owner of cottage).


Funny part is that during my discussion with her I found that there was one more person with whom they have done fraud and he also was suffering like me.


Now I’m going to file a legal case for fraud and harassment on their CEO, Sales Head and Tina. I will request judge to call CEO for trail so that their fame can be spread to media. Now it is not matter of refund but it’s matter of commitment and customer service. Let these fraud companies can be closed so that they can’t dupe other customers.


Go for Ibobo as I have booked rooms via them in Mysore and Coorg and there I have not faced any issue. So Goibobo and keep fraud trip out.
