Hi,
I just want to share an experience of using Citibank Cash Bank Credit Card after using for 1 year ending with 9957.
By seeing 5% cash back which includes life insurance premium payment I too applied for card.
After getting a card, joining fee of Rs.500+tax has been charged.
Insurance details should be registered in the portal to pay the premium.
It takes minimum 365 days to get it approved by the LIC of India.
Now here is key point i.e. if we pay LIC premium of 25k we are going to get only 100 points but not 1250 points.
After paying broadband bill of Rs.840 use to get 40 points.
To redeem the points to the cash, minimum points should be 500.
Also in case of any card, if you use card to spend of certain limit like Rs.60, 000-70, 000.
Automatically annual fees would be waived off, but this is not applicable in this case.
Annual fees would be charged to the customer at any cost.
I placed a request to close the card
Worst part is I got call from executive that I can get Rs.500 cash back if I spend Rs.1000 within a month.
I didn't get the Rs.500 even after spending more than Rs.1000
I am happy after closing this card.
So please think twice before applying this card.
