Beware of Scam from PlatinumCircle.in. Review on Chuttipechutti

Do not get trapped by PlatinumCircle.in or "Discover India" or ChuttiPeChutti.com or "Mega Deals" agents calling you over the phone. They promised everything (including the recording of their phone call) when signing up for the membership.

Later they did not find the recording of the call, neither they were ready to cancel the membership. When you have no choice, you ask them to book a vacation for which they never have the dates available. They are bunch of cheaters mugging your money on name of membership. Government should taken stringent action against these fraud companies and put those culprits behind bars. Unfortunately, you are not able to get them unless you live in Delhi. I hope someone from Delhi (consumer forum) will be able to shut down these scams.

Here is my experience -

I bought the membership on August 27th, 2012. I asked Platinum Circle if I could book my vacation for November 11th, 2012. I was told to fill the booking voucher and send it to Mega Deals. I sent the vouchers on September 3rd, 2012. I contacted Platinum Circle to confirm my reservation. They asked me to contact Mega Deals directly (very poor service). When I contacted Mega Deals, they told me that the reservation could happen only before the month of the vacation date. Platinum Circle agent did not mention that. how could someone plan the vacation just 1 month in advance. You could not get train tickets even 3 months before the traveling date. Still I called back to them on October 1st, 2012 to check the status and the answer was even shocking. Mega Deals agent told me that they will be able to confirm the dates only 3 weeks before the vacation date. Now, who will give you accommodation during Diwali vacation just before 3 weeks. I called them again on October 29th to check the status.

They started giving me wrong booking dates. According to them they have booked my vacation from November 15th, 2012. I asked that my voucher has the date of November 11th, 2012. They denied that and I had to send the copy of the voucher (I made a copy of the vouchers I had sent to them) to prove that my request for booking was correct. Here comes the worst part. Mega Deals sent me the email confirming my reservation for November 12, 2012. When I asked for the reservation slip to take with to hotel, I was told that I will get those 3 days before the check in date (I am still not able to believe that someone could say that to their customer so bluntly). Since I had lost the trust with these people, I called up the hotel SunCity International, Jodhpur to confirm my reservation and as expected, they did not even heard my name and there no booking on my name or on Mega Deals name for November 12th, 2012.
