Chupke chupke chal ri purvaiya!!!!!! who can forget the song??? It keeps running through your mind, admit it is stuck in yours right now. I am writing this review after reading the reviews on Golmal. I love that movie and was sitting to write a review on the same, but then, decided to write this one instead.

The main leads in this movie are Dr. Parimal Tripathi, ghaas phoos ke doctor. Botany student Sulekha Chaturvedi, Prashant and Sukumar both Parimal’s friends , Vasudha Prashants sis-in-law and future Sukumar’s darling, and of course bhaiya and Pujniya JIJAJI.

The story stars off with Parimal and Sulekha meeting up. Then they get married. The twist here is that Sulekha is always quoting her JIJAJI!!! and this makes poor Parimal very jealous. When invited to Jijaji’s house, Parimal decides to play a prank and goes there as a driver, who has a strong command in Shudh Hindi, as jijaji wanted. Then the whole Sulekha comes home, and they romance each other secretly and then elope just to make Jijaji miserable.

After this drama, Sukumar disguised as Parimal arrives on the scene and stays in Prashant’s house, where he falls in love with Sudha. After a whole lot of drama there they elope and then the story ends when all the characters meet up and show jijaji that he is not all that great after all.

SIMPLE????? No not all that, in fact the story is full of humour. The role of Parimal is played by Dharmender. He does such a great job, there are some scenes worth noting here. When in the start of the story he responds to the warden of the girls with a shrill “ Aaya memshaaaaab” and also when he says “ Waah re uuper wale, Jitna baada Badaan diya hai ,utna baada dil diya hai” while he is busy asking for Bakshish!!! His acting as a driver is commendable. The language and the subtleties of his character make is worth watching. One scene where is asks about the goo is particularly funny.

Another person who has done a great job is Amitabh Bachan, as Sukumar. “ Aap log to kuch samajhte hi nahi hain naa” is his favourite dialogue. His efforts to steer vasudha towards english leaving botany behind are hilarious. His portrayal of a man desperately in love with a girl and unable to express his love is hilarious. Almost at the end of the movie when he calls her Sudhi, his facial expressions are worth watching.

By far this movie is one of the most hilarious movies of all times. This is a good family movie which can be watched by all ages. It rightly portrays the Indian society to a good extent, the involvement of the family, the boundaries of love and most importantly the meaning of caring for one another and a feeling of family and the respect grown ups command. I highly recommend this movie to all who are looking for good clean fun. Go watch he movie if you have the time. Listen and watch the antics of Parrimal , Sukumar, Prashant, Sudha , Sulekha and yeah Dont forget JIJAJI. Believe me you cannot miss him even if you wanted to!!!

Enjoy
