Why do we need microwave oven

Currently in India, we are facing GAS shortage and time restriction to get gas cylinders and cost increase of gas cylinders, we need to find alternative way to reduce our burden.
Also we need to reduce our time and effort for cooking in this fast world.
Microwave is a best alternative or Standby for the GAS cooking.
You can prepare rice in the microwave oven. For example, for preparing rice in cooker, we need to monitor the time and how many sound and then we need to stop. Whereas in microwave oven, it is very simple, Just put rice in plastic vessel and pour enough water and set for 30 minutes and that is enough, your hot rice is ready.
You can prepare idlies within 4 minutes. Normally in Gas stove this will take 10 minutes. See How fast oven it is.
If you want to heat already prepared food, we can do with in minutes and enjoy having hot food.
You can prepare favourites cornflakes with milk within one minute.
You can prepare pappad within 10-20 sec(no oil)

The cost of Microwave oven is reduced. We are getting cheapest microwave oven starting from 3500.Kenstar Grill model app.5400, Pigeon make grill model app. Rs 3500, But LG/Samusung models are little costlier.

1.Kenstar - I suggest this(I bought model OM SGQ 20 litres ) Service is good
2.LG - Cost is always higher (may be quality is good)
3.Electrolux - Cheaper
4.Samsung - Cost is very high
5.Pigeon - economic and cheapest - don't know about service support, those who want to buy cheapest can buy this
6.Haier - China based - cost is medium
You can consider the below points before buying microwave ovens

1.There are three features are available in microwave ovens
a) BASIC - is the standard microwave cooking
b) GRILL - you will get basic+grill - to prepare roasty,browny food(Grill has heating element like heater)
c) Convection: basic+grill+convection - is used to prepare biscuits(convection has fan to circulate heat)
2.Normally, Grill is sufficient for preparing foods(we don't find time to prepare biscuits, my advise no need for convection due to cost factor)
3.For a small family from (2 to 4) 20 litres capacity is sufficient. Those who are preparing more food, they can go for 29 litres capacity. May be big one will be used in hotels and bakery shops.
4.Check the microwave and grill power. The microwave power is 1100 watts and Grill power is 1200 watts. But the resultant output in microwave is 800w.
5.Power consumption: For example, if you use 1000w capacity microwave oven
Assuming you are effectively using 2 hours per day
No of Units consumed per day is 2 units
For a month = 60 units
If you are paying Rs 3 per unit, so the total power consumption per month= 60x3=Rs 180/- only.
6.Bigger capacity like 25 litres,29 litres, consumes more power.
7.For Vegetarian lovers can prefer BASIC model
8.For Non-Vegeterian lovers can prefer GRILL model(BASIC+GRILL)
9.Those who are loving preparing biscuits can go for convection model, but cost is high
10.Dont go for KNOB type, go for feather touch digital display screen
