It's Down to Inverter vs Non-Inverter
May 28, 2014 03:22 PM 334957 Views

When one is talking about choosing the microwave oven, the first thing you have to ask yourself is whether you want an Inverter or non-Inverter microwave.

Plenty of discussions can be found that highlight the benefit of Inverter compared to the traditional microwave oven mechanism. In summary, Inverter technology adjusts the operating power according to your setting. In contrast, the traditional mechanism either have the microwave turn ON or OFF at full blast. When you set it at 50%, it just means that it will remain in ON state 50% of the time while the rest will be in OFF state.

Once you've decided on this, then the choice becomes easier. If you decide to go with the normal microwave type, there are plenty of brands to choose from: Cuisinart, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Sharp, GE. Sadly, the option will be limited to Panasonic brand if Inverter is your choice.

The most popular Panasonic Inverter microwave is NN-SD681S and a good review of it can be found at https://ovenreviewshq.com/panasonic-nn-sd681s-reviews/.
