Keep in mind what you plan to do.

When I was shopping for a hand blender, or stick blender as they are sometimes called, I had to keep in mind what I was planning on doing with that tool.

Don’t be drawn in by hype, neat pictures or bonus items and choose one just because it comes with all these extras that you might not ever use. The same should be held true when price comes into play. Don’t pick one just because it’s the cheapest, or just because it’s the most expensive.

A cheap model might save you a few dollars to start with, but if the task you need the tool for is to demanding for one of that size, then you have to replace it sooner. Better pay a little extra and get a stouter model to start with.

But over paying for an item is about as bad. If you see one that is what you are looking for, and see another one of a comparable brand that is a little cheaper, then go for the cheaper one. But only if it’s a brand you can trust.

Some I looked at came in several strengths and one even had all kinds of extras that I would never use. The one that had all the extras that I looked at was not a very strong one, so I passed.

I was searching for one to help me in my soap making. So I knew I needed something strong, and durable. But, I also had to keep in mind my over all budget. Even though, they aren’t that costly here, it still adds up if one has to keep replacing the item, so choose wisely.

*The Questions One Might Ask:

What do I plan on doing with this tool?

How much can I afford to spend on this product?

Does it have any warrantees?

Is it a brand that I have used before or know something about?

How easy is it to clean?

*It's Many Uses:

*A stick or hand blender can be used for many recipes.  I've seen people use it to make sauces and dressings as well as in the making of soups and stews.

Finally

Once you have one of these handy dandy tools, you’re set to create. Like I mentioned before, I chose mine to use in the making of soap. Using a stick blender helps speed along the process of getting soap ready to be poured in the molds.

I’ve had mine over a year, and have been thrilled it! Hope you have as good of luck as I did.
