!~*Feliz Cumpleanos Madre*~!. Review on Choosing Gifts for a Mother

Main shayad paanch sak ki thi.jab maine pehli bar mummy ke bina ghar mein akeli rahi.mujhe bohoth dhar lag rahi thi.aur main bas rone lagi.uske bad mummy mujko akeli chor nahi paya.

(I enter my house whilst my mom is sitting on the couch watching television. As she sees me.she get’s up).

Mom: How was school?

Me:Good, Mom.

Mom: You ate your lunch properly?

Me:Yes, mom.

Mom: Did you trouble the teacher?

Me: Yesss-er. I mean no, Mom

Mom: Your going to your friends house, right?

Me: Yes, Mom.

Mom: When are you leaving?

Me:(Smiles tiredly) In half an hour, Mom.

Mom: When are you coming back?

Me: In the night, Mom.

Mom: Why? What are you going to do there?

Me: (Gets impatient).Arghh! Gosh Mom.I’m going to study! Please no more questions.

I love my mom as she is practically my best friend. Though I’d say having fights with her isn’t a very pleasant thing to experience. Once you turn her on.she will never turn off. These so called “fights” happen for some very certain reasons. It depends if my room is messy, she’d get mad and shout at me, (my room is not that messy ok?). Even if I’m not in the mood to eat food and gosh loads of other reasons. Those arguments we both have together is something I don’t think I was ever able to erase from my memory.well actually I will never be able to erase it from my memory.:S Though I think after having those arguments I knew that she only wanted to see the best of me.

The way we talk to each other at times and spend time with each other isn’t really like she’s my mom! It feels like she’s more of a sister to me, which is what everyone says. Well.today is my mom’s birthday. This review goes out to my bestest friend in the world and I know that this may come to no use to you because these gifts may be obvious. Though once they are from the heart I guess it will be useful enough.:)

Surprise Birthday Party

Hehe.I’ve tried this and most of the time I have gotten loads of shoutings and other times loads of kisses. You can give your mom a surprise birthday party for her. Give her the fright of her life when she enters the house and is about to turn on the lights!:D. It’s a pretty cool gift. When you where a kid, she’d keep little birthday party’s for you and invite all your friends over. On that special day for your mom, just give her a little surprise just to see her smile(and shout?). After all, mom’s do deserve a little something for the many things they have don’t in life, including taking care of you.:-)

Music

Music is another thing my mom really loves. Sometimes without even asking her I would download a bunch of her favorite songs. Hehe, hearing her sing is pretty cool, better than listening to Sonu Nigam if I must add(after all there are loads of intelligent singers in the family.:P). To be honest my mom isn’t really the fan of old hindi songs. She likes to listen to all the new types of songs. Yeah I know.shock horror. She’s practically a more bigger music bluff than me! Getting your mom’s favorite music is a pretty cool gift and is also simple enough to prove that you love her.

Hobbies

My mom loves cooking. When I say that she loves cooking I mean you will hear the blending machine in the kitchen going on and off 24/6(Sunday’s ko hum bahar khate hai:P). So you’d forget other things for a moment and then lighten up her kitchen with loads of different cooking utensils. Like pots, pans and crockery and loads of other things to do with cooking. Heck, you can even do a whole make over for the kitchen and make her friends jealous! My mom also really loves watching films. Her most favorite would have to be my all time favorite as well.Dil Chahta Hai(now you see why I watch the film everyday). So you can also get your Mom her favorite film and watch it with her, and even though it may not be the film you like, you can still make the effert to watch it with her and keep her company.(Consider me lucky getting this kind of Mummy:D).

Flowers

Whenever I get my mom flowers, just think I’m busy with my mom getting kisses all over my forehead, which practically sucks in a way as I missed the last show to a film going on in the cinema. She will burst into an awestruck of emotions and just hold me as tight as she possibly can! It may be a very common and obvious gift to get your Mom, though atleast it’s something beautiful enough to signify her beauty.:)

Watch

My mom has loads of watches though I’m telling you, none of them really match her sympathy and coolness as well.(Yeah, you see where I get that from as well:P). She always brags about getting a watch she really likes and it would be too expensive, I would go and buy it for her right away! Then she would go and shout at me telling me why I spent so much money. Though it is nice to see that smile on her face right after she is cooled down because she made you happy all her life. So I guess that’s what she expects back from you. In other words.'buy me the watch now or else no television for a week!':@

Me

Ironic gift you ask yourself? Hmmm.well that’s practically the best gift I can give my Mom. Along with the Love like no one has ever loved before, Hapiness so she will never have to frown again and Care so that she will never have to go to the doctor again.(although she obviously will and not trust me):(:(
