One cant call me a car buyer but yes, my love for cars takes me to it showroom as soon as a new one steps into the market! I mite be too late for it but I got the oppurtunity to test drive the SRV a week back wen I actually went to take the test drive of the chevy UV-A! coincidentally, I saw the shining car and demanded a test drive for it too. I jet set and vrrrroooommed!
the car is solid and has excellent pickup and within no time, I was on a 100kmph!
*CAR SPECS:
*the car has an excellent 1598cc VGIS engine under the bonnet with great punch and pep! it has a solid grunt which reminds me of shivaji's horse! there are four colors to it namely black, red, blue and silver in simple words. the ground clearance is 185mm which is quite good for a sports car. transmission is 5-speed manual which is a bit gruesome at times but usually shifts smooth.
FEATURES:
*has got plenty of features like a digital clock, driver's seat height adjust, mp3 stereo system, rear defogger and wash wiper, 6 sexy speaker set which sound good, sporty bumper with fog lamps, dead pedal, 15" alloys and a host of other ortional features too.
*LIKES:
*excellent 1598cc engine grunt, interiors and exteriors, lives upto its sporty image, shape and sexiness.
*DISLIKES:
*engine is punchy but pickup takes time which is a sports car nightmare, left/right indicators on the right side and wipes on the left side confuses the driver a lot of times, clutch is poor and gear box is fiddly at times.
*PRICE(approx.):
*bit high on pricing and is one of the main reasons for the slow selling of this car. is priced around 7.5-8.5 lacs.
*PERSONAL VERDICT:
*the car is well designed and comes from the family of the largest car manufacturer in the world(GM). almost all goes well with this car, wonder what went wrond with the auto car verdict!?
