My Cruz Diesel automatic has completed 6600 kms and 6 months. In another 900 kms due for the first service. So far, touch wood, a great car to own and drive. I have graduated from Santro automatic, Honda City Automatic to Cruz. The sheer power gives you a real adrenalin kick when you step on the gas on the highway.
First 3000 kms, I gave due respect to the car, never went above 100 kms/hr. Since that milestone, I have stayed consistently in the 100-120 kms/hr range on the highway where I used it everyday.
The semi automatic option is good especially in the bumper to bumper traffic situation. The a/c is good, suspension good, acceleration excellent. Mileage is currently 12.2 km/liter.
I am OK with this, and hope that after the first service at 7500 kms, it improves to above 13 kms/liter. I like it, kids like it. And on a highway, you can overtake any vehicle - where there is a will, there is Cruz!
