I purchased and used this Chandrika Sandal soap in the last month, february.
I had never used this soap before and was curious to try it out and felt it would be good in the dry wintery weather.
It is an expensive soap by the way and is not available commonly.
Coming to the soap itself, and il be frank. It simply did not suit my skin. My skin went from better to worse. It claims to have pure ayurvedic ingredients and sandalwood extract. Its also got a coconut oil base. my skin developed rash and break outs in couple of places. I think there is something wrong with this soap as I never haf such bad skin before. The only thing I had changed was this soap. I used it for almost 15 days and after I had to discontinue it. I am totally disappointed with it. I think the sandalwood is also for namesake as the fragrance did not last beyond 15-20 minutes. Its cheating and paying 80 rupees for this silly soap and spoiling your skin is plain foolish. I will never buy any Chandrika soap again. They should stop making such a soap. Friends kindly stay away from it. Its not worth experiementing.
