I have been in Mohali for around 1 and half years while working with smartdata enterprises. That time I used to live in a PG(Paying Guest). I would never forget the morning breakfast of Parathas with butter and lassi. In PG the owner of PG(aunty), provides Prathas for 3 days in a week and for other 4 days she used to make different different break fasts.
In lunch she usually used to cook whole grain dals(Like Laungi and Rajma) and it was very healthy and tasty. During those periods we(colleagues) go to Chandigarh for shopping and movies. All the road signals are of similar view so you may get confused of which sector signal you are at. The road sides are full of green trees and it seems very pleasant while traveling. The places to visit are rose Garden, Sukna lake, Rock garden and Sukna lake. For shopping you can go to Sector 17 market or sector 22 market(for cheaper shopping). There are different different entertainment programs are running in sector 17 market and you can enjoy the Punjabi folk songs and dance there.
There is bank square too and you c an get cash from there in sector 17. I had never thought of leaving that place untill all of my friends(Colleagues) left the company and I felt loneliness and not companion to visit around the area. This is best place for health and hygiene. Dont forget to have Chhole Bhature and Lassi in khalsa restaurant over there.
