I had sent goods via central cargo to Jaipur on the 26th of March 2012. They reached Jaipur on the 9th of April! The assurance had been they would reach on the 29th of March 2012.
The agreement was for a door to door delivery including packing and picking up from my house in Mumbai and delivering and unpacking at my house in Jaipur. The packers who came to my house in Mumbai demanded extra money for picking up the goods.
I was assured goods would reach within 3 days. two weeks down the line and after much following up about location of goods I was finally called up on the 9th and informed that the goods were in the godown at Jaipur and I needed to pay money to have them moved from the Tonk road warehouse to my home at Omaxe city. The agreement was door to door and they had the address to begin with. So why the extra charge?
Calling their office almost always is a futile effort as they do not have details of the other end, promise to get back but never do. Advise you to not get swayed by a low quotation as this is not at all a reliable mover.
