Great Experience with Cathay. Review on Cathay Pacific

I had a great experience on Cathay MUMBKK route CX 750/751. I was sceptical at first after reading all the negative reviews here. But, boy how wrong it was..all the negative feedbacks here are just not true...or the management might have changed during the past couple of weeks. For whatever reason I had a smooth and hassle free ride both ways. The plane was new Boeing 747-400, the seating space is wide, you can fully stretch your legs with a slight bend of back, which I found very comfortable, the row seats are arranged in such a way that the seats does not obstruct the back row seats. In short, the new seating arrangements are simply scientific rather than keeping financial thing on mind. The flight attendent even mentions the new seating arrangement on her welcome message. so this must be something special they must have done. I found the food to be good too, it offers both indian vegetarian and non veg continental food plus refreshments. Flight attendants, were most attentive.

Attendants running up and down, attending various folks calls. May be it was my lucky day, so lucky that, the moment I came near the baggage claim area, I saw my bag just 5 meters away. my bag is last one to arrive..may be law of averages is catching up or may be one of flight attendants was watching over me as a guardian angel for my safe way out of the airport. I even had a laugh with the immigration official..can you believe that..we talked and joked for some minutes on the pic on the passport and my aged up face after 10 years :o) With all of the seats in economy packed, only my row aisle seats weren't taken and I was sitting third to the front row. I just couldn't believe..so too were some folks. Itching to come to my rows of seats. I just shooed them by signalling with pillows and sometimes putting my legs over for a sec indicating I plan to sleep over to my way to mumbai. Usually, Mumbai to BKK flights could be delayed by 30 min to an hour...but BKK to MUM flight is dot on time.

I prefer singapore airlines but cathay pacific has matched it on service to service and I got luckier in cathay. Whatever I used to wish while on an airline came true from boarding to landing. I did not meant to write this review but the reviews here are so negative. It would be an injustice to all MS folks..who would not fly based on reviews plus all the great staff who worked to make my journey fantastic.
