My AC remote was broken and I asked for replacement as my product is under full warranty. AC installed in my native place, Kolaghat, West Bengal. My parents ( 80 yrs old ) are living there. I am staying in Visakhapatnam. During the telephone conversation I clearly inform them that my parents have thrown the broken remote in the trash. Then they told me that the new remote is not available at the moment. Then after about 10 days I got a call and they told me that they will provide the new remote. However once they reached my home with new remote they started asking money from my parents citing non availbility broken parts. However once they reached my house with the new remote they started asking for money from my parents citing unavailability of the broken parts. When I talked with them they interpret in such a way that as if I am asking for new remote without any reason. When I talked to them they took it as if I was asking for a new remote for no reason. I have already paid around Rs 4 thousand extra for 3 years additional warranty. When I talked to them they interpret it as if I was asking for a new remote for no reason. It was an insult for me as I have already paid around Rs 4000 extra for 3 years additional warranty. Then I inform them that I will not pay any amount and I will manage it from somewhere else but not from Carrier. I will never purchase anything from Carrier and will not recommend it to anyone.
