I purchased the Carrier Estrella 1 ton Window AC in October 2016 from Vijay Sales, Mumbai . I have been using it since two weeks. My room size is 14 x 11 feet and in around 15 mins it cools the room till 25 degrees centigrade in the night. It is rated at 1133 watts and has a 3 star rating(power saving guide 2016-2017 years). The gas used is R410A, which has less ozone depleting properties than R22. It was installed by a third party as the window and the grill needed to be cut to fit it. I have yet to know the electricity consumption and bill that I will get for this month. Will check in a few months for an updated review.
