Getting coaching at Carrier Launcher was a very disappointing experience. We(All the students at the centre) never expected such a pure commercial and non ethical attitude from an organization imparting noble service like education. 4 hour daily class for around 45 days of coaching was promised by Carrier Launcher enrollment staff under CLAT-Express program at the price of Rs.27000/-. After starting the batch it was explained as 76 hours of coaching.
CLAT preparation requires skills in Legal Aptitude, English, GK, Logical Reasoning & Maths. English, GK & Logical Reasoning were given minimal time, while mathematics was not even touched. There was no balance in time given to each subject. They didn’t have any permanent and professional faculty. Teachers were shuffled frequently in a period of just 30 days. CL kept on taking class for just 2 hours daily even though we had just 20 days till the test of Christ University.
There was no Centre Head or any managerial staff at the centre to take feed-back and complaints and resolve our issues. Only one amateur clerical staff was there at the centre who perhaps didn’t convey our grievances to the head office or the head office was in sensitive to our complaints. As the coaching staff was neither professional nor permanent lot, their aim was just to complete 76 hours without imparting any special skills & techniques. Even these 76 hours were completed after three main entrance tests of Christ University, Symbiosis and AILet.
It is better to have self study & take online mock-tests(never of Carrier Launcher). Taking coaching from CL is not worth, even for free, as I wasted 6 hours daily for a class of 2 hours(4 hours in travelling up and down). I could have utilized these 6 hours better by self study.
Finally here is an humble request to the shopkeepers of Carrier Launcher, “Please shun this noble profession as there are many other trades for profiteering, kindly do not play with our future. Your greed costs a year to the students.”
