Hello Friends,

This is my personal review of CANON IP1200, I would not write a long long long and elaborated review but would just highlight the following points, which would make you realise this printer is the most cheapest photoprinter for small home use.

I live in Aurangabad, Maharashtra and would straight away start with the price details which are most important aspect of a printer. Usually we find that if we buy original cartriges it is much more than the original price of printer itself so refilling is best option. Apart from that I have also downloaded and I am using INKSAVER a software which saves ink on your cartridge and increases its life. Also one tool I downloaded to reset the ink level whenever we replace the cartridge, as canon has this chip system which gives on warnings that is also fixed with this softwares.

SO A CANON PIXMA+ REFILLED CARTRIDGES+ INKSAVER SOFTWARE+ IP TOOLS= LOTS OF SAVINGS AND PRINTING AT DAMM CHEAP COST.

The cost of INKSAVER is around 35$ but as we are indians I downloaded it from internet with crack, so enjoying full features.

CANON PRINTER PRICE: 1300 Rs( one color cartridge included)

NEW BLACK CARTRIDGE PRICE: 500 Rs, (Compatible) and Original is around 1200 rs equal to cost price of printer. So I bought compatible cartridge.

REFILLING CHARGES IN MY CITY ARE AS FOLLOWS FOR GOOD QUALITY INK.

BLACK= 50 Rs

COLOUR= 100 Rs.

So in short you got to know how dam are the operating costs of this printer, and quality is as excellent, only thing is colour cartrige is compulsary and black n white is optional and if you print black n white documents with color cartrige u dont get exact black color, so better use both cartridges and as soon as one gets empty replace it immediately.
