CK Watch - Model K3724409. Review on Calvin Klein Watches

There are watches and there are watches. But some watches are so unique that you just can’t take your eyes off them. Model K3724409 from cK is one such watch and I am its very proud owner. I came across its photograph in a magazine and it was love at first sight for me. No surprises then that I sought it out and bought it right away. Its been more than a year but its novelty hasn’t worn off – whenever I wear it I walk with an extra spring in my steps.

cK watches are famous for their geometrical and striking designs. K3724409 is a perfect example of their philosophy. The big gold dial is light inspite of its size. It has a big ‘2’ where the 10-minute hand rests and a big ‘8’ where the 40 minute hand rests, which gives the dial a unique look. The thin leather brown strap doesn’t have a traditional clasp but a self-tying simple mechanism that holds the big dial surprisingly well. It comes with 4 extra satin ribbons in different colours that can be changed (in place of the brown strap) according to the colour of our outfits.

In spite of being so modern in looks, its very versatile – it looks just as good when worn with a sari as it does with western outfits. Its trendy yet elegant, minimalist yet sensual. The unique dial attracts immediate attention but can’t be called loud inspite of its big size. The unique thing about it is that it doubles up as a lovely piece of jewellery too (though it can’t be called a jewellery watch by a long shot). I have received more compliments for this beauty than all my other watches put together!

Thankfully it is available in India at more or less the same price as anywhere else in the world, so one doesn’t need to feel cheated that they paid extra for it. It comes with an international warranty that is valid around the globe. And the quality of Swiss watches needs no mention.
