Planning to buy a webcam?Go for Logitech

Friends if you are thinking of buying a webcam which is reasonable in price and offers good quality video then go for Logitech Quickcam.

This is from my personal experience.First I went for a local brand Zebronics. It cost me around 900 bucks and I had to spend around Rs 200 to 300 to get it installed properly. After that too there was some hardware conflict(One of the reasons could also be that there was some problem with my system). The Zebronics webcam is good but it won't offer you a clear picture if you are capturing a video. However for snaps its good.

The configuration of your computer is also important. Its necessary to have at least 64 MB of RAM and a fast Processor such as Pentium II..etc.My system uses Celeron and 266 MHz processor,32 MB of RAM(which Iam planning to upgrade).I had bought my computer system about 5 yrs back and this was the best configuration I could get at that time. There was this cartoon strip that I read in a Newspaper a few years back wherein a student carrying computer books is running towards his house.Why??Well...because by the time he reaches home new books and new s/w would have arrived in the market. That is how rapid the computer technology is growing.Well..coming back to our topic Logitech webcam is the one I would suggest you to buy.

I heard that webcams from Intel,IBM are also good but Iam not sure about it.One more important thing to keep in mind while capturing video or clicking snaps is that you should have sufficient lighting behind your subject.

Happy clicking and video capturing.
