After using splendor for 7 years, I was looking for a change in my bike. (Actually its sad that I had to sell my splendor after many years of association.)

The choice was little difficult because of the availability of too many bikes in the market in all categories. Finally I shortlisted Yamaha Fazer, FZS and was about to book a Fazer till a close friend of mine suggested to have a look at the MACHINE. One thing I was skeptical about the bullet is that it's little heavy (compared to others in the market) and you can't rip the bike in the traffic as we usually do with the other kids on the block.

With many doubts in mind, I finally landed at the Jayanagar showroom. Took 5 mins to kick start (I never rode a bullet before.Though my dad used to have one when I was a kid, I was too tiny for the machine). Finally it started and switched my gears and started. There is no looking back.

I don't have words to describe the feeling of riding the bullet. It has got an amazing road grip. I had taken it out for two short trips outside Bangalore and tested the maximum speed (100 kmph). Even at that speed, the bullet goes so smoothly, No vibration, no uncomfortability. It's 5 months since I purchased it and completed a little over 4000 kms (mainly in city traffic).

When you enjoy the ride, you tend to ignore certain negative aspects of the bullet. One thing is the mileage aspect of it. I am currently getting close to 20. It's way below the standards, but you don't buy a bullet expecting 50+ mileage. You buy it for comfort and that comfort comes at a cost.

Anyways, I will get it checked with a mechanic once. In case if you know one, kindly pass me the number.
