Goa has very few Bookshops and Broadway Book Center claims to be Goa's largest Book Store. It has been in Goa for more than 10yrs now.
10yrs ago when there was no flipkart or Amazon getting good quality books especially engineering books was very difficult. Unlike Mumbai, Pune or Bengaluru where engineering books were easily available, in Goa we had to request the book store owner to order a particular book if it was not there and it would be available only after a week or so.
Broadway Book Center opened around 10yrs ago and was a real relief to students and book lovers. The store was big for Goan standards and they had books in lots of categories. They gained popularity by holding a lot of book exhibitions and selling books at affordable rates.
Recently when I visited Goa I had the opportunity to visit the store and though the location is the same the contents have changed a bit. There is a small section for Engineering books and computers in general. They have a lot of books in fiction and non-fiction categories. They have a very good selection of books on Goa which includes Goan cooking, history and tourist places to visit in Goa. They have a big collection of books for kids. I bought a lot of books for my daughter from there. Kids book categories include activity books, coloring books, story books of various ages, etc. They also have a few magazines and soduko and word search books. Bought a few for myself too. They have sales on occasional basis and you can find lots of books for less price. Have bought few books in their clearance sale for very good rates.
Apart from selling they also publish books.

The store on 18th June road is near to kala academy. There is no bus that drops you in front of the shop but once you are on 18th june road you can ask anybody and they will tell you where to find Broadway Book Store.
