I recently purchased the Bose SoundLink Mini from US. Costed me $195 with a 5$ discount coupon from BestBuy using loyalty points. I have owned 2 Bluetooth speakers so far & I have tried a multitude of speakers including the Logitech's top of the line UE.
None the less I finally was convinced enough to buy the Bose. The piece is amazing & people get amazed when they hear it play - the amount of high quality music this pumps out is stunning. The speaker is powered by 2 drivers, 1 woofer & 1 passive radiator. The outer design is aluminium uni-body (similar to the mac-books). The speaker sounds even better when you place it near a wall - Bose called it reflective true space surround.
The charging cradle was a surprise - and it makes it super easy. Dock it - use it while its charging and then pick it up and u are good to go. A single charge would last for about 7hrs (at 60% volume) which is sufficient. Its loud enough to fill up an avg bedroom or even a living room if you ask me.
It work beautifully with my MacBook, iPad, iPhone, even my old Nokia C5 & my dad's android phone.
For its size - it is hard to believe how it managed to carry so much bass while being so clear & loud. I would totally recommend this speaker to anyone looking to buy a portable Bluetooth soundbar.
It's price makes it a little outta reach - but then Bose was never cheap. I'm sure this speaker will last me for years to come - its built like a tank!!!
