Bombay Hospital is a very old hospital and at least I have been familiar since last 50 years. In earlier days there were not too may private hospitals in Mumbai. Main ones were nanavati, Bombay hospital, harkissondas, breach candy.
Hinduja, Lilavati hospital came up much later on. and now we have seven hills, kokilaben hospital also.Bombay hospital was very well equipped in earlier days also and the treatment was quiet good & cheap. But since last few years, it has become commercial and charges very high rates and the quality of treatment has also deteriorated.Very renowned doctors used to be associated with it but now only few renowned doctors are attached with it.
Its no more so much popular. There are many better hospitals these days.
