Birla Mandir in Hyderabad is a favorite place to many hyderabadis. Tourists who visit Hyderabad never go back with out visiting this beautiful white marble temple constructed on a small hill at Nampally, the center of the city. The temple was constructed by the Birla Group and henceforth the name Birla Mandir.
The sanctum sanctorum houses the shrine of Lord Sri Venkateswara also known as Lord Balaji. The temple is always peaceful and the sculptures on the walls are beautiful. As it is at a higher altitude, the view of the city during night looks great. I always feel blissful at this place and so I am a frequent visitor to this temple. The temple is easily accessible at all times of the day.
