It has been more than 2 months now since my amount of Rs. 817 have been stuck with big basket.
I made a purchase of Rs. 213 on 19/05/2016 and the payment of the same was
done by my Allahabad bank Debit Card. However the card didn't work for the
first time( as mentioned by the delivery boy) therefore I was asked to try
again for the payment BUT the amount from my account was debited twice, 1st
deduction was of Rs. 817 and the 2nd deduction was of Rs. 213( Rs. 213 was
the actual price of purchase). On calling up at the customer care no. I was
told that they have received only the amount of Rs. 213. I have sent several emails to big basket attaching the bank receipts and bank email which clearly says that the amount have debited and stuck with big basket and not the bank, also I have called up on their customer care no. but no reply. the only thing they repeat is sorry we have not received the amount.
They every time promise me to call back but in spite of repetitive followup calls, I have till date not received any reply.
