Best ten computer games. No probs.

These are my favourite computer games. They may not be in there for the fact that they were very good but usually just for sensitivities sake. Here are my(expert?) choices.

  1. TETRIS

So simple, yet so alluringly addictive. One could get hooked to this game for hours on end. For those who aren't familiar, it is a Russian puzzle where one must build solid lines using shapes. It was so easy to learn, play, and keep playing that it has become a cult, along with it's music which if played through some meaty amps, kicks proverbial backside.

  1. Madden 2005

The best sports sim ever? Aye, say would I. It brings the game to life at your fingers and immerses you in hard hitting NFL action. And with new features like'THE HIT STICK, ' you can control your guy to do whatever you want.

  1. FIFA 2005

Forget the prattocks who say that pro-evolution 4 is better, they are wrong, and that is the long and short of it. With this game you play with REAL teams, REAL players and get REAL objectives. The EA Sports trophy room allows you to set objectives for yourself.

  1. Brian Lara Cricket

The original cricket game. This is the benchmark of all leather and willow sims. Unfortunately, I doubt they will be making a version for the PS2.

  1. Wario Ware

One word sums this up. Random. With games like'annoy the cat' and'obey the doctor'(a slightly worrying Simon Says job) plus the bonus of the'beach run'(I'll say spandex and nothing else) this is entertaining, but bemusing.

  1. Championship Manager

I have two versions of Champ Man and it is the deepest and most gratifying football management sim one can take party to. You feel in charge and connected to your club and will probably be as addicted as you were when playing the computer games legend that is Tetris.

  1. Tekken

Tekken sums up the world in one simple philosophy. If one has a bad day, they can kick some computer generated fiend and it will feel alright. Benchmark for all one on one fighting games including quite possibly worms.

  1. Time Splitters 2

Ever met a homicidal monkey? You will with this fantastic yet twisted game. The games involved are simple yet enjoyable and you can really get into this. Always best when playing with three friends at about half past two in the morning.

  1. Gran Turismo

The basis of all decent car racing games. Gran Turismo puts the player in the driver's seat and says goodbye, while you speed off in your Chevy. Fantastic game. Fantastic excitement. Fantastic.

  1. Lemmings

Simple yet effective. Guide wee lemming people across rough terrain without them commiting suicide. Lovely.
