I wanted to buy a bluetooth enabled phone. Cost was a limitation for me. I closed upon LG G1610 and BenQ M315.
LG was costlier and did not have the camera (although I never wanted one). I read few reviews over the net and decided to buy this.
As the battery was not charged, I could not explore much of the features at the shop. But later I realised that - its display resolution is not good (change the wallpaper to realise this). Buttons are very small - typing messages is an issue. Changing cases while typing messages is irritating. There is no title case concept. U cannot add ur own words to the dictionary.
Bluetooth range and clarity is pathetic. Headset would not fit snugly on ur ears. NO IR communication. Doesn't support any mp3, wma or other file formats. No sound or video recording.
Camera is there for the sake of it.
Memory is very less. (750kb)
Battery back up is pathetic. U need to charge it everyday. Don't forget to carry the charger along.
U cannot synchronize ur outlook appointments. U cannot transfer the SMS stored on the phone to SIM and viceversa. But U can copy the contacts from phone to SIM and vice versa.
What I like about the phone is: Saving the drafted messages automatically. Profile customisation (I am talking about the different settings u can alter wrt a profile), its compactness (if it has nothing, it has to be small at least).
After 2 months, phone started to restart whenever a number is dialled. I totally got frustrated and sold it off and bought sony ericsson k700i.
I request people not to go for benq phones. Benq phones are cheap, come with few attractive features. But on the log run - u will lose.
