Presented by iDream Productions and Produced and directed by Gurinder Chadh a, the album has 21 tracks of which 6 are original dialogues from the movie. The rest are pre-released channel hits of various artists.

The first track ‘Atomic by Blondie’ begins with loud and complete orchestration and is on the lines of ‘Zubi Zubi’ of ‘Dance Dance’ fame. Overall, it’s a paced-up number with throughout chorus and constant lead guitar notations. Being a familiar tune to Indian audiences, it must positively register immediately with listeners.

Second track ‘Baddest Ruffest’ by Backyard Dog begins with interesting strumming of the Base Guitar played as an alternative to drums. The number’s got rap lyrics but the vociferous orchestra grabs all the attention. Anyway, it should do well with teenagers.

Third track ‘Darshan’ by B21 has vocals by Bhota Jagpal and is a typical Punjabi dance cameo. It’s a blend of English and Punjabi lyrics rendered in verse anab his/her wholehearted participation. A perfect number for jiving. Side B begins with ‘Noorie’ that’s got Bally Sagoo featuring Gunjan. This is another superhit remix of the new millennium that needs no further words of praise. It’s a musical masterpiece in itself.

Fourth track ‘Inner Smile’ by Texas is a well-paced rhythmic number ideal for playing in car decks during short drives in and around the city. It has a uniform tune rendered in a uniform pitch and is well supported by good https://lyrics. A sure shot winner with loners.

Fifth track ‘Independence Day’ by Mel C & Elton John Kennedy is the OST from the film with the same name. Another hit of the new millennium, only this time, an offering from Hollywood. It has smooth strumming with minimal usage of electrical instruments. It has a very catchy tune on the lines of a progressive country style. Apart from being a proven winner, the song’s greatest plus is its meaningful https://lyrics.

Eighth track ‘Kinna Sohna’ again form Bally Sagoo featuring Gunjan is a sound, smooth and melodious entertainer. It’s perfect for Fashion show sequences and is composed on the renowned Enigma style of music. Another successful Punjabi folk remixed. Tenth track ‘Hot Hot Hot’ by Bina is a very popular number of the late nineties and was a chartbuster of those days. Replete with power, pleasure and personal pride of living a happy life, it’s a typical dance number, especially for the beach folks. Old is Gold indeed!

Last track on the album ‘Rail Gaadi’ is written by Kuljit Bhamra and has vocals by Chirag Pechan. It begins with slow drumbeats that steadily progress straight into the football pitch. A Punjabi song again, showcasing the virtues of team spirit and collective efforts. The music on this track belongs to a forgotten era and the lyrics are also not substantial enough to hold their own. A feel good song, but that’s about it.
