There is a lot of controversy going on whether one of the prime accused of terrorism attack on our Parliament on 13 December 2001 Mohammad Afzal should be pardoned or not.

Senior leaders of Indian politics like Shri Gulam Nabi Azad (CM of Jammu & Kashmir) and Shri Farooq Abdullah (Former CM of Jammu & Kashmir) and top leaders of Hurriat Conference are playing politics for their personal benefits on such a sensitive issue. According to them Mr. Afzal should not be hanged because that will affect the peace process between India & Pakistan. Mr. Farooq Abdullah even can't stop himself from saying that hanging of Afzal could pose security threat to the judges who gave this decision. Hurriat leaders are even guiding people of Jammu & Kashmir to come to road against this decision.

I am not able to understand what is the logic of opposing the decision of court regarding Mohammad Afzal. Is the crime not sufficient enough for the decision given by court? Or we don't have faith in our Court. What is the message we are giving to the world and terrorists by giving these types of statements. If we leave a culprit like Mohd Afzal don't you think that it will encourage terrorists to do whatever they want? As they shall be knowing that even if they are caught and found guilty, first the court will take around 5 to 6 years to give the final decision and in case if the decision is against them then there are patriot leaders of India to oppose the judgment. Then why the terrorists should worry.

We should learn lesson from country like America who went to the extent of punishing an entire country – Afghanistan to kill the attackers of World Trade Centre on 9/11.

Actually fool are the people who give their life, by fighting against terrorism activities. And what our leaders to – Only a speech of Condolence.

The court ordered that Mohammad Afzal should have been hanged till death on 20 October, but as the family members of Afzal have appealed for mercy to Hon'ble President that decision is at halt.

According to me Afzal should be hanged as soon as possible so that a straight message should go to terrorists and people who are against India that if they are involved in any type of activities against India then the final result will be what happened with Afzal.
