Film that makes you go, "Whoo!!". Review on Basic Instinct Movie

I finally saw Basic Instinct. WHOO!!! It was kind of an uncut version, and as I said, “WHOO !!” Man, now I know what it means when a bad girl re-adjusts her legs improperly. The fat guy interrogating her looked like he was being interrogated under arc-lights. He was all sweaty, google-eyed, with tongue nearly lolling out. Almost looked like he was having a heart attack - I guess that would have been the state of any straight guy watching that movie!!

I’d heard about this movie ever since I was a teenager. Now why did I see an old movie NOW? Well, Sharon Stone in *action *was definitely not the least of the motivating factors!! And boy, on that count, I’ve to tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. Not at all. And honestly, having heard all those descriptions, I'd always wanted to watch this movie.

The story is of a Policeman, who is investigating this extremely intriguing homicide, where the suspect is a novelist. Her last novel contained a gruesome murder by an ice-pick. Now, her boyfriend is murdered, in real life, in the exact same manner as described in her novel. So is she guilty or not?

Interesting idea, isn’t it? Now add to this a whole bunch of allied cast who are fully or partially psycho, and what do you get? A nice box of fruits to add to the intrigue.

Now, the plot is intriguing enough – but the élan with which Sharon Stone describes her relationship, for example : it creates a sense of no-holds-barred filthy intimacy which is carried forth successfully (oh, boy!!) in the visuals.

It is an extremely intense movie, and you would have your heart racing throughout the movie. And if I didn’t say so already – man, Sharon Stone in this movie is Red Chilli Hot !!!
