We stayed for a day at Bangkok while on our journey to Phuket.
I had booked a studio room in Chatra court hotel in Sukhumvit area. We checked into the hotel at around 9 am and then after some rest went off to see what the city has to offer. I was delighted to see all teh tall building and other architectural pieces in the city. we travelled thru the sky Train and went to MBK mall for shopping. Plus Bangkok as a city is shopper's paradise. U can get anything fake/original/first copy etc etc. We had a great time window shopping and admiring the huge mall.
Later I had arranged for a romantic dinner cruise for us at the river. The curise was a small boat which showed us the river side with some great music and food. I loved it completely.
Later we went to Suan Lum night bazar. We shopped till we dropped. ESpecially my husband who loves shopping. We got back to our hotel later in the night and were excited to catch the plane to Phuket the next day.
