Muthathi - Pick the pearl. Review on Bangalore

I wanted to share this wonderful experience.

Muthathi is a good place for a day outing. Basically, this place is not so commercialized. So, problem for food. You may want to select Jungle Lodges and Resorts and stay at Kaveri Fishing Camp or Galibore Fishing Camp for a cost of Rs. 1000. We started at 4.45 AM from Banaglore about 6 of us in 3 bikes. From Banashankari Temple towards Kanakapura around 60 km and towards Sathnur around 15 kms and took left towards Muthathi. Around 18 kms. Reached at 6.30 AM. Quality of the road ok with mix and match.

Muthathi is an ideal place for people who want to enjoy the beautiful landscape and who are looking for some calm place, do not enter the village of Muthathi.

To enjoy the real calm place of Muthathi, take a left turn - mud road into the forest when you are just  2kms behind to Muthathi village. It's actually restricted area. But for passionate people nothing can be restricted.

After the deviation on the left it's about 1/2 kms on the right you will find a place filled with sand and wonderful Kaveri river flowing with lots of trees and Green Mountains around.

A perfect place for a day picnic.

For people who like to eat village food have another option to enter the Muthathi village and check for the house who can prepare food at little extra cost. Both veg and non-veg food are available.

Tips : Kaveri river - it may look water is stagnant but they have high current in it. Ensure not to go to far while swimming as the place Muthathi is very dangerous as there has been many incidents where people have lost thier life.
