Tailors in Bangalore. Review on Bangalore

I am staying in Bangalore for a couple of days now, and after having gone through a lot of experience, which I found commonplace at MS, I have another one to add to them ? the Tailors of Bangalore.

I recently bought a really cute suit piece I found at a showroom, and decided to get it stitched here only, since its time I go back to my place, and get it done by my boutique. AND I NEVER had such a bad experience anywhere?

First, I went to a boutique, and told the lady there, that I want a ?churidar? suit. She did not take any measurements for it and said ?madam hum bana lenge?. And heaven only knows, what she would have made of a ?churidar? without measurement.

Well, I collected my courage, and agreed to her. She told me to collect it after 1 week?s time. When I went to collect it after the agreed upon time, she told me she had to go to Cochin to buy some dress material, and so she could not stitch one simple suit of mineL

Well, I got the unstitched thing back from her, and went to another tailor in nearby locality. Now this was a guy. I told him that I need a well-fitted suit and not something that would be unevenly stitched.

He said,? Mam, aapne ye jo suit pehna hai, yeh aapko theek hai na?, I generally replied yes. He started taking all the measurements thru that only? and he almost got the idea, it would be of the same length (I was wearing a short suit, and wanted to get a long one stitched, despite of telling him several times). I told him, I want a sleeveless? he said ?Ok, no problem?, but he never measured the sleeves L. He said that is also a standard ?

I have been wearing suits and esp. ?churidaars? for some 6 years now, and have never ever faced such a situation. Never does my tailor take any thing for granted and a ?standard?, probably that?s why we get our stuff stitched, since standards do not fit us properly. I have started getting scared of this standard stuff now. God only know what will become of it.

Thank God, I just took the one less priced to him?I think its all gonna go down the drain. And now I am just praying for my suit
