On Nov 1st, 2004 (Kannada Day) me and my family gone for an outing on Bangalore - Kanakpura road. After about 25kms from Bangalore we stopped the vehicle 100mtrs away from main road for my 2year old kid wants to urinate.
Suddenly I saw two youngsters approaching to our car, I told my family to get in the car fast, but by that time they already reached near driver side door. Mean time my family entered in the car and closed the back door.
The youngsters looks like “kannada desh vadhi” kind of (wearing RED and YELLOW color shirts), asked me to come out of the car in Kannada. Then the argument started, I asked “for what should I come out?” , they saw my Maharashrta registration and found I am an outsider, so he asked why you are here? What business you are doing here? Which place are you from etc?
I start ignoring these and started the Scorpio. Then they try to take my car keys out. So I moved the power window up, just not by hearting them left some space at the top, and rushed from the site. Immediately they start throwing stones, but the glass didn’t broke.
Just because Scorpio’s power window was too strong and the pickup was too good, I could manage to stop taking my keys out and escaped from stones. And my family and kids took time to come out of this shock.
I heard one more incident of robbery in Bangalore; victim is a software engineer (MNC). He was been beaten heavily by these antisocial elements in Madivala. And found no use to complain to Police.
