Bajaj kept its legendary pulsar running for almost a decade and of course loved by millions, and now almost a decade after they came up with something which has more potential than Pulsar to rule the market for another decade, hoping for the best. Indian riders were lacking the presence of a true tourer motorcycle and bajaj did just the right thing by launching the Dominar 400 into the market which is meant to be a tourer as well as a bike that can suffice the need for daily commute in the cities. It is powered by the same engine to that of the KTM Duke 390 but with some tweeks to the engine for the betterment. In what way? Mileage of course, being a triple spark ignition engine I believe the bike would end up giving better readings than what the dealers are claiming right now, again it depends in the riding style, if you are too harsh on the revs then forget about the mileage, this bike also comes with the dual channel ABS, which I think is a must feature for all the motorcycle in India as cats and dogs and sometimes cows and bulls or some idiotic, careless drivers can come your way anytime. Looks of the bike can be somewhat compared with that of the Pulsar 200NS in terms of the fuel tank design, the tail light to that of Ducati Diavel but having said that looking at the bike at its physical form is truly a pleasure to you eyes. Lastly about the price has blown away the competition with the other manufacturer with a huge margin. Will dominar 400 be a success, only time will tell.
