Update after 10000 kms. This ultimate bike still rocks with consistent mileage of 50-52 in heavy bengaluru traffic and zero problems. First I would like to say HATS OFF to BAJAJ and its R&D team for coming up with such a wonderful bike.

I recently sold my SUZUKI ZEUS 125 and bought this bike after scanning through specs of different bikes, reading several reviews and after a test drive.

Do not buy any SUZUKI vehicles. None of their parts are available outside showroom and you will get a no stock board in showrooms. I drive 30kms everyday in Bengalurus heavy traffic. I am writing this review after riding 1300 kms.

Let me summarize important features of ths bike and my views on this:

  1. Engine & Power: 150 CC DTSI. It is as smooth as any other HONDA, YAMAHA or SUZUKI bikes. 13 BHP, 12.75 Torque.

The higher the torque, the better will be the pulling power. Because of the high torque, the bike pulls 2 adults very easily even at low speeds of 20-30 on flat roads.

Beats all 100 & 125 cc bikes. Matches most 150 cc bikes.

  1. Milege: From the day 1 I am getting consistent mileage of 48-52 in heavy bengaluru traffic.

Matches milege of splender+, passion+ family, honda shine & other 125 cc bikes. Beats all other 150 cc bikes.

Even so called NO. 1 bike like splender+ and passion+ are giving poor mileage of 55 in heavy bengaluru traffic.

  1. Simple looks. No dirty open chains. The design allows to put ladies handle/hook which is the only way to carry some luggage in bikes.

No half cut pillion handles.

  1. Light weight, just 121 kg. The lightest 150 cc bike. Light weight of the bike is very important as you need to pull, push and lift the bike in cities where you get little parking space.

  2. Price: The cheapest than any other 150 cc bike. Just 55350 on road bengaluru. Even 100 cc passion pro is 58000 on road bengaluru and

125 CC HONDA SHINE is around 60000 on road

  1. Availability of spare parts: As per mechanics Bajaj parts are the cheapest and easy to get outside the showroom.

  2. Gears: All 5 down shift. Easy to ride than 1 down and 4 up gear system.

  3. Broad rear tyres: beats all 100 & 125 cc bikes. Even some of the 150 cc bikes do not have this broad rear tyres. provides that extra grip over the roads

  4. Nitrox Shocks: one of the very good shocks for smooth drive. None of the 100 or 125 cc bikes have better shocks.

If you are planning to buy a 100/125 cc bike, you can buy Discover 150 with better power, matching mileage with much cheaper price than these bikes.

Instead of spending 73000 + for other 150ccs like unicorn, apache, dirty looking YAMAHA bikes and sruggling with heavy weight, poor milege, expensive parts etc,

DISCOVER 150 is a better choice than these at the price of 55340.

I am not saying that splender+, passon+, honda shine and other 125 ccs are bad.

But hero honda and honda have over priced their bikes for their poor performance and ordinary features.

As long as stupid people are there who go only by brand and not look at features or performance,

companies like HONDA, HERO HONDA, SUZUKI, YAMAHA will keep cheating people and looting money.

Why do you buy a spender or passion + with poor milege of 55 in heavy traffic and compromise on power?

People compalain Discover 150 for style and looks. Discover 150 looks better than most dirty open chained YAMAHA bikes, hond stunner, twiser etc.

Never buy a bike with Open chain. As per mechanics there is no advantage in open chain bikes. Instead you are inviting dust, mud and dirty water

during rainy days and spoiling life of the chain sprocket.
