Avenger is a affordable option for cruise bike lovers. The bike comes with awesome looks and great driving as well as pillon comfort.
As most owners would agree for the Avenger 200 oil cooled engine the company should consider the following problems to get better customer satisfaction scores:
-Problems:
Locking system: The *handle lock *is badly placed on the right side. Unlike a normal bike it doesnot come with a single lock for handle and ignition
Placment of the iginition lock: The ignition key is at the bottom of the fuel tank. You have to bent down to your knees to put it in.
Service & Maintaincence: There are very few or distant service centre. Unlike regular Bajaj bikes the avenger cannot be serviced at any service centre it needs to be serviced at Pro biking service centre which I guess in the whole of Pune they only have 2.
Milage: Unlike Shahruk Khan in the Hundai advt I believe Power is inversely propotional to milage. So please dont expect great milage from this baby.
It would be really unfair to speak only about the issues with the Avenger. The following are the plus points:
Riding Comfort: Like all other cruise bikes the Bajaj Avenger gives you an amazing riding and pillion comfort(As Merntioned earlier)
Handling: The bike also has good road grip due to broader tyres at the rear.
Power: The bike has 5 speed gear box for its 200cc oil cooled engine which gives you a very strong feeling and a masculine feel for the bike.
Looks: As every cruise bike lover I would vouch for the looks of the bike. It is enhanced if you could fix some accessories like the wind shield and the bikers bag. The accessories are expensive but for people ready to spend some extra bucks definitely a value add.
Just to summarize my review the Bajaj Avenger DTSi 200 cc Oil cooled engine is a bikers dream to ride but an owners nightmare.
