Well before I can start anything here, you guys must have seen the ad FLG! Yes, Bajaj is always puts its best tagline for the bikes, remember Pulsar "Definitely male"? I own a Pulsar and bought Bajaj Avenger 2 weeks back, trust me guys when I started driving I really felt like God. I mean the control, the handling and the braking are all good.
I have seen many people are asking questions about the Height of this bike, let me clear this first, I am 6.1 and I am riding this bike from few days, initially I felt its too low for me and but after I installed the Windshield, I felt its tall and bold. Bajaj Avenger shares the same dimensions, look and feel of Harley Davidson Street 750, but yes the engine is 150 cc.
I rode Pulsar 150 for last 7 years and I felt a little lag in the pickup initially, but trust me guys once on it you will forget your old bike. I am driving 60 KMs a day, and initially I felt a little bit of pain in the shoulders, its just because this bike is new for me and it took 2-3 days to adjust. The handle is shorter than the Cruise, it helps you cut through the traffic easily.
Mileage: I am still near 300 Kms figure, and its very early to say the mileage. For now I am getting around 40 KMPL, but after the first engine oil change it may go a little bit up.
New buyers: Please don't use this bike for racing, its not a racing bike, its a bike which you need to enjoy riding.
Hope this review helped, I will update with my mileage figures soon after my 1st service.
