Do not go for the Invest Plus Premier plan. The customer service guys are cheats and just not trust worthy. The guy told me and his manager too that I need to pay only three premiums and even though I do not pay for the rest of the period, I get a good return of 7-9% or so.
He never showed the policy document but only the brochure. After I signed up, I received the policy document after nearly 12 days of so. Then I realized that there is a free look period which was for 15 days. That is it !! They made sure that I could not give it back even if I wanted to. The regular premiums is mentioned in the document to be paid for the full period of 20 years!
I have decided, even if I lose the money, I will never give them my second premium.At least I know now that I lost that money. Am sure that they will not be around for 20 years and then the loss will be just too much to bear.IRDA should not allow such companies to even function. IRDA hould have strict rules and better still not allow any private firms to deal with insurance related business as it is for long term.
