Beware of cheap selling tricks of bagittoday. Review on Bagittoday

I recently received a call from Bagittoday, the lady calling said that since I had participated in a contest on bagittoday around 1.5 years ago hence they are giving me diamonds worth Rs 50000/- and along with that a pair of watches, a travel bag plus a DVD home theatre system, all this totally free. Initially I have to just pay Rs. 15000/- and this amount will be refunded back to me. She gave me the URL of bagittoday website where I saw the product. I ask her if they are providing it for free then why should they charge money. They should just send the product across.

For that she started giving me all the vague reason that according to RBI rule they cannot give product free to customer so they have to charge the customer first and then refund the amount. I was suspicious that she was lying. There is no RBI rule which prohibits any Indian citizen or company to give a product for free. To confirm my suspicion. I asked her to send me a email from their official mail id confirming that I will be refunded this amount entirely. To which she again lied that their server is configured such that email will go to all the customers and not to me alone. This confirmed my suspicion that it was just a trick to induced me in buying the product. Once I bought the product online, and after that they would just ignore the refund as there is no proof they have to refund the entire amount. It is a very cheap trick to sell their product. Many customers must have become victims of such cheap tricks.

It shame full that Bagittoday resorts to such low tricks to sell their products. Consumers beware of such calls from bagittoday.
