This is a BSNL EC325 data card with 145Kbps speed(its need will connection towers to work). First U need to fill an application form and submit in Ur nearest "broad band office of BSNL" and make the payment of 3300Rs then they will call the "exchange" to see whether the data cards are available are not. If available U will receive the call with in 3 days. They give instructions while giving the data card(u have to pickup). Simple to connect install the software connect the card, and connect to the internet using the "username and password" provided. There is only one "unlimited plan" the tariff is around 250Rs.
The surfing speed is more than 120Kbps to 150Kbps. I mostly download "torrents" of hollywood movies and games( movies around 1GB and games around 4 to 8GB). The download speeds depends upon the torrnet but my speeds are good more than 13Kbps to 18Kbps. IF U downloading anything from good servers like microsoft etc then the speeds will be more than 14Kbps constantly, some people complain about the speed of download there is lot of facts depends upon the speed, so we can't blame the product. In my case I mostly select good servers and good torrents so no problems. U should not surf while downloading as its decreases the speed of download.
Interpretations are very rare some months back one entire day is with out any "transfer rate". It happens once in a month or couple of months. Before I was going to take this connection I knew about it so its upto my expectations so no "surprisings".
CONS:I mostly stay in towns and cities so connection problems. Its been a year or so no problems as it is not something like "messy braodband". Unless U don't pay the bill in time the connection will be intact. The only problem is that the card is made by "HUAWEI company from china" the software driver updates are not available from the company. So I am using same drivers since one year on Windows 7. Dispike this I am 100% happy with the BSNL Data card Ec325. Best suitable for normal intenet usage and "roming people".
