I ordered a keychain spy camera, online, to indiatimes.com. Payment was made through cheque. The cheque was dropped in the drop box, located at Woodlands petrol pump located at, Alipore, kolkata.

When the product was not received in time a reminder was sent to them on e-mail address as provided.

THERE WAS NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM THEIR SIDE. Eventually a mail was received from the following e-mail addy :indiatimesshopping@timesgroup.com. indicating that the payment was received by them and the order is under process, and in case of any quiries I should write to customerservice@indiatimes.co.in.

Eventually the ordered item no:112235358 was received by me on 12-03-10.

As per the instruction leaflet I tried my best to use the product. To no avail. The blue light kept on blinking. Even after charging the same for almost 8hours this camera was unable to take any videos or still picture.

A complaint was lodged with the customerservice@indiatimes.co.in. there was neither any response nor any confirmation regarding my complaint. This complaint was sent on e-mail addy as provided by the said seller company.

Another reminder was sent to them on 15-03-10 regarding this complaint. But to no response from their side.

Eventually a complaint was sent on the following e-mail addy operationhead@indiatimes.co.in on 16-03-10., to speed up the matters. But to no avail.

Through this site I would like to bring to the notice of everyone who is about to order products in shopping.indiatimes.co.in . Please dont be carried away by seeing their ads in their own newspapers. Once the transcation is complete they do not bother to listen to your complaints.

Besides the envelope in which the article was sent does not bear the senders address. No bill or challan was enclosed with the product. No address or number was provided in case the product turns out to be defective. Without raising a invoice isnt the government suffering the revenue loss? The state Government too is suffering the revenue loss.

The advertisement carried in newspapers tell you the bright things about the product but have you noticed nowhere is it mentioned in the advertisement in case of complaint whom to contact.

Clear case of cheating and duping. I have lost Rs.1890/- by ordering this product so I want to share my experiance with everyone so in future he or she cannot be cheated by such a big and prestigious group.

In continuation;

I received a formal reply from 'Escalations', from Mr.Abhishek Kumar. A format was attached along with the apology letter. I am suppositly to fill up this format and hand over the parcel to TNT couriers. The numbers of the TNT couriers provided are as follows: For BSNL/MTNL 1800425999 AND FOR OTHERS 60009999.

since 10 AM ive been trying these numbers but the reply I get back is "SORRY THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST".

You can try out these numbers and assure your self that im not lying. Eventually their Delhi office requested me to add 022 before 60009999. I did that and eureka!!!! the bell rang. The lady operator, employed by the TNT courier picked up the phone and started a fight with me straight away. (0n 18-03-2010 exactly at 16hrs and 45 mins.) im sorry to say she went on to the extent of using the abusive language.

I wonder now whom should I run for help.

Amen.
