My first ever 180 degree cinema experience

I had booked two tickets to watch the Dark Knight Rises (180 degrees show) and had paid Rs. 600 per head, which is not a small amount to be able to watch the movie peacefully and at comfort for today's date (4:15 p.m.) - Seat numbers D4 and D5. However, the 180 degrees room also had extremely boisterous girls as audience, who were giggling at the top of their voices. Nobody bothered to tell them to be silent during the first part of the movie. I saw that it disturbed me a lot and asked them to hush down, but they continued giggling and disturbing me (and I don't know who else) while I was trying to watch the movie (they were sitting in the last few seats and if they had not actually come to watch the movie and experience the novel idea of 180 degrees seating, then they need not have come to the 180 degree room at all). The girls could have stayed back home and done whatever they like, but considering that this is a public movie hall and not their private property, they could have learned to behave themselves.

Secondly, just because I did not order any food the waiters kept walking right before my seat (in my row) to give food to the extremely hungry lady seated next to me during the movie and I guess it was deliberate firstly because I did not buy the fatty and unhealthy food they have to offer and probably also because I asked the girls to hush down). I may not have paid for the food, but I did pay for watching the movie without being disturbed and of course, also for the reclining seats. The waiters had the option of walking through the aisle and could have easily come from there (especially when the seat of the lady seated next to me was at the open end of the row next to the aisle instead of continuously inconveniencing me during the movie, making me shift my legs and covering the screen, whereas we were seated in the middle of the row). I believe this was deliberate, because the waiters must surely know the seating arrangement after working for years with the movie hall, without which they would not be probably allowed to continue their employment there and also because this special screening room housed only a few premium seats, which obviously do not block the way from the aisle to the seats unlike in some ordinary movie screening rooms).

I paid heavily hoping for a good movie experience and got a bad one, despite paying for it. I did not pay the cinema hall, so that I can hear a bunch of girls laugh out loud. I paid so that I could hear the dialogs (even if it had sub-titles) and also so that the movie watching experience is something that gives me a good time and value for my money! I would never recommend the 180 degree cinema experience to anyone, especially after seeing the kind of crowd it draws - mostly MNC workers that come on the weekend, the nouveau-riche, and boisterous college girls, whom the theater is absolutely unable to control.

BIG Cinemas should understand that there is a difference between making their customers feel at home and letting their customers behave any way they like, especially the way they behave at home.
