As you know that AZHAR Movie is based on some real life events of cricketer Mohammad Azharduddin chronicles the highs and lows of the his life and offers an insight into his inner world for the first time.Emrran Hashmi is playing the role of former Indian Captain Mohammd Azharuddin. He was one of the most successful and eventually, the most controversial captains to lead the team india.The movie, starring Emraan Hashmi as Azhar is out & as expected, the movie will touch upon the various shocking aspects of his life. the match fixing scam is definitely there, with Ms. Lara Dutta angry lawyer hell-bent on lebelling Azhar as a Match fixer. Secondly his colourful love life is also touched upon how his first marriage with naureen(Prachi Desai) broke up because of his affiar with actress Sangeeta Bijlani(Nargis Fakhri) who is welcomed in the trailer with the iconic oye oye from Tridev. And since this is a Emraan Hashmi we are also privy to a couple of kissing scenes and Emraan Hashmi also famous for same.

The story promises to cover rise and downfall of Azharuddin's personal life & cricketing carrer, his first & 2nd wife roles have been played by prachi desai & Nargis Fakhri Repectively. the Biographical sports film will be releasing on My 13th 2016.

In real life, Mr. Azharuddin debuted of Indian against England in 1984-85, with three hundreds in his first 3 test, a feat that has never been match but the allegations of match fixing provided an emphatic full stop to his wonderful cricket career.

the film is directed by Tony D'Souza & also stars former bigg boss contestant gautam gulati as Ravi Shastri.
