Asus Zenfone Selfie is the latest innovation from the Taiwan based tech giant, which comes fitted with a powerful AF rear camera and includes a 13MP high tech front camera setup along with dual tone flash.
The handset is features a 5.5 inch IPS Capacitive Touch Screen offering a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. It is further powered with a Quad Core Processor and has been incorporated with a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. The unit I had came with 3GB of RAM and included 32GB of internal storage with support for 64GB microSD card.
The Zenfone Selfie runs on Android 5.0(Lollipop) and is topped with Asus ZenUI. I really liked the user interface; it is clean and simple to navigate through. The UI is smooth and most of the apps and games run without any issues. Also, the phone doesn't heat up. Provided with Adreno 405 GPU, the Selfie manages to run even graphics intensive mobile games.
The overall performance of Selfie is quite good. But its big size might not be liked by all. Moreover, it seems like since late Asus has been following the same concept that LG started; illogical button placement, which at times make operation confusing for the new users. Also, I think being a Camera phone, Asus should have included a dedicated camera shutter. BUT despite few shortcomings the Asus Zenfone Selfie remains one of the best selfie phone ever made. If you are eager to spend around 17000, then Selfie can be a good deal, especially for the people with addiction to selfies.
