A phone with a 5000mAh battery, a 5.5-inches HD Screen, and Quad Core Processor- is worth attention. Asus ZenFone Max is a latest launch, and it comes with some decent spec sheet.

• 5.5-inch HD Screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4

• Quad Core Snapdragon 410 Processor

• 2GB RAM, 8/16GB ROM

• 13MP Rear Camera; 5MP Front Camera

• Android 5.02 Lollipop OS with ZenUI

• Dual SIM with 4G LTE Support

With such spec sheet it does look like a treat, especially when you get to avail it for Rs.9999. The handset manages to click some decent images with it 13MP camera, and proves good for taking selfies. For Rs. 9999, 1.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 Processor is decent option if not a gifted one. I was able to play games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5, and Dead Trigger 2 without much issue; though keep in mind not to overload the UI with unnecessary applications as Asus ZenFone Max comes pre-loaded with tons of its own apps, this will keep the RAM working and provide enough space. Multitasking felt smooth, though you will notice some lags if the UI is loaded with useless bloatware.

Battery is something that impresses here- it can last up to 2 days on normal usage, with a standby time up to 38 days. NOT BAD for budget smartphone. But then, the handset takes 5 hours to charge the battery, which I really hated. So, make sure to put the phone on charge when you bid goodnight.

Other thing that might not be liked by all is ZenFone Max’s brightness level, it is quite dim and screen is too reflective. But then, Asus ZenFone Max provides good value for money with impressive battery life and decent hardware performance. Mind it- every phone has its share of flaws but then there is something for everyone these handsets offer, so is the case with Max.
